Val Gerard Garcia Jr. (also goes by Jay) is making his final dramaturgical work with Aglaonike's Tiger at University of Pittsburgh Stages. A Chicago native, Val is currently a student at The University of Pittsburgh. He is a fourth year Natural Sciences major, specializing in Biology, Chemistry, and Neuroscience. He recently earned his minor in Theatre Arts and also won a 2015 Undergraduate Research Award for his work on communicating scientific research via the medium of theatre. Val is expected to graduate with his Bachelors of Science in December of this year.
